Episode 136 finds me running solo again. This episode is all about a recent successful bowhunt that came within inches of being a failed attempt. I took a shot at a whitetail buck at about 18 yards, I was focusing so hard on the spot I wanted to hit that I never even noticed the small limb just a few feet from my bow. The arrow struck the limb almost immediately on release and as I watch the arrow I expected a miss but watched while it appeared that my arrow bounced off the bucks shoulder or leg. What I found a half hour later when I went to retrieve my arrow is still a bit hard for me to believe and I was there. Hopefully some lessons to be learned in this episode, I hope you enjoy.
